Privacy Policy

Last updated:

DotSense is built to be safe for classrooms by design. The short version: we don't collect student data, there are no student accounts, and the tools run entirely in your browser.

No student data, ever

The DotSense tools do not ask for, collect, or store any information about students. Nothing you or your students do inside a tool — the numbers shown, the answers discussed, the settings chosen — is sent anywhere or saved to any server. Everything happens locally on the device you're using. Because of this, DotSense stays outside the scope of COPPA and FERPA.

Email signup (optional)

If you choose to enter your email address to hear about new tools, that address is handled by MailerLite, our email service provider. We use it only to send occasional updates about DotSense, and you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email. We never sell or share your address. Entering your email is entirely optional and is meant for teachers, not students.

Analytics

We use Vercel Web Analytics to understand which pages are visited and how the site performs. It is privacy-friendly: it does not use cookies and does not build a profile of individual visitors or track them across other websites. It collects only aggregate, anonymized page-view information.
